Cockroach Controlled Mobile Robot

By Garnet Hertz (2005) "Cockroach Controlled Mobile Robot" is an experimental mechanism that uses a living Madagascan hissing cockroach atop a modified trackball to control a three-wheeled robot. If the cockroach moves left, the robot moves left. Infrared sensors also provide navigation feedback to the cockroach, striving to create a pseudo-intelligent system with the cockroach as the CPU.

‍ ‍ ‍ ‍ ‍ ‍ ‍ ‍ ‍ ‍ ‍ ‍ ‍ ‍ ‍ ‍ ‍ ‍ ‍ ‍ ‍ The Great Wall of Adhamiya ‍ ‍ ‍ ‍ ‍ ‍ ‍ ‍ ‍ ‍ ‍ ‍ ‍ ‍ ‍ ‍ ‍

US walling - off Baghdad City with a fear of so called sectarian violence. Currently they have made this kind of first barrier, in Adhamiya district but have plan to seal off other districts like Doura.

Will this kind of heartlessness towards Iraqi nation divide their nationhood??? They seem to opt it anyway. divisions have always created problems rather solving it, similarly raising such isolation among citizens will only create vacuity to enhance sectarianism.... a clear division of land!.

Maze

Here, I am sharing you some of views from the Iraqi people, almost all annoyed by its presence.

Nuri al-Maliki, Iraq's prime minister: "I oppose the building of the wall and its construction will stop. There are other methods to protect neighborhoods."

Adnan Shuhab, a resident: "Firstly, they want to separate us and put sectarianism in our minds. Secondly, we are Iraqis and we have been unified for thousands of years."

Amer Najim, Baghdad resident, claimed the intention behind the walls was to isolate Iraqis: "By such a decision, they're trying to make sectarian provocation. When they isolate Adhamiyah from Sadr city or Ghazaliyah, they're officially trying to make provocation."

Um Haider: "I'm astonished by the way officials think. Is that reasonable? Protecting al-Adhamiyah by segregating it from adjacent neighbourhoods?
"Erecting concrete walls between neighbourhoods is not a solution to the collapse in security and the rampant violence. If so, Baghdadis would find themselves in a maze of high walls overnight."

Ahmed al-Dulaimi: "They are going to punish all of us because of a few terrorists here and there."
"We are in our fourth year of occupation and we are seeing the number of walls increasing day after day, suffocating the people more and more."

"The Americans will provoke more trouble with this," one resident, Arkan Saeed, told the BBC. "They're telling us the wall is to protect us from the Shia militia and they're telling the Shia they're protecting them from us.
”But it's the Americans who started all the sectarian violence in the first place."

Another resident, Mustafa, said: "I resent the barrier. It will make Adhamiya a big prison."

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Now, it our time to think as a human nation!!! Will this all bring peace in Iraq?

Love

A Special World

A special world for you and me

A special bond one cannot see

It wraps us up in its cocoon

And holds us fiercely in its womb.

Its fingers spread like fine spun gold

Gently nestling us to the fold

Like silken thread it holds us fast

Bonds like this are meant to last.

And though at times a thread may break

A new one forms in its wake

To bind us closer and keep us strong

In a special world, where we belong.

Iraq Bombing
Related to country: Iraq

Iraq once again rocked by violence!!! It's like these incidents are promoting, provoking & proclaiming sectarian unstability for what cause is yet to be rule-in One relevance of these attacks is considerable decision made by the President of Iraq:

“Then it would be province by province until a full transfer had been completed by the end of the year,” Mr Maliki was quoted as saying in the speech, delivered by National Security Adviser Mowaffaq al-Rubaie.

Keeping this event in chain, it seems that these "terrorists" were not happy with the Prisident's decison of handling security by Iraqi Arms. These bombing also linked with the congress decision to draw back the US army by the end of this year, after all Bush has always played his cards with "firm" evidence. iraq Targeting Shai majority areas indicate to raise milieu of revenge by victims extremist groups and this way bullying neighbor country's involvement in Iraq's condition, yet there is no clear facts. Better late than never, so time has yet not gone far away for Iraqi nation to meld themselves and unify there strength Peace For All.

Government

Many forms of Government have been tried, and will be tried in this world of sin and woe. No one pretends that democracy is perfect or all-wise. Indeed, it has been said that democracy is the worst form of government except all those other forms that have been tried from time to time. ~ Winston Churchill, Speech in the House of Commons (11 November 1947)
